Alumni Fall Tailgate Event is October 30th
Date: October 30, 2010
Save the date of October 30th for a get-together with old friends at the ATO House prior to the Huskers vs Mizzou football game.  We'll have food and drink on hand, so stop by on your way to the game or other tailgates.  Game time hasn't been announced yet, but we typically begin 2.5 hours before kickoff.  If it's an early game, we'll have breakfast type food.  If it's an afternoon or evening game, it will be burgers, hotdogs, etc.  More details will be forthcoming.  Expect several emails on this event between now and October 30th.  Looking forward to seeing you all at the house.

The Husker Football Season Begins September 4th
Fall football practice is underway and the 2010 Husker football season kicks off on September 4th.  NU faces Western Kentucky under the lights with a 6pm kickoff.  The non-conference schedule is pretty light except for a trip out west to face the Washington Huskies.  When it comes to the Big 12 part of the schedule, most of the Huskers tougher games are at home.  None will be bigger than the October 16th showdown with the Texas Longhorns.  Here's hoping for an NU-OU Big 12 Championship game matchup (with the Huskers winning of course).  Should be an exciting season for Big Red fans.
